The Ghana - born nollywood star has beconed on the well meaning citizens of the country to always seek God's face through helping the needy. Gina Mensah, who recently came 🔙 from his country of origin said,  " it's very pitiable to see how the less privileged languish in the orphanage homes". KANTE REFLECTS ON THE MEANING OF HIS NAME (N'GOLO)

"Why did my parents call me N'Golo? This is the name of a former King in Mali. A King who started from the very bottom to conquer a Kingdom. Mali, I've been there twice, I still have a little family there. Does that name suit me? Yeah, a little. We can compare it to what's going on for me in football. It's true that the story is beautiful "

CLUB THREATENS TO SUE MAN CITY OVER UNPAID IHEANACHO £7m FEES

Sport  |  Football

Club threatens to sue Man City over unpaid Iheanacho £7m fees

  |   29 August 2017
Former Manchester City’s Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho

Owerri-based Taye Academy has threatened to sue Manchester City over an alleged £7 million owed the club from the sale of Super Eagles’ striker, Kelechi Iheanacho to the English side.
Iheanacho joined the national U-17 team from Taye Academy and was later transferred to Manchester City following the exploits of the team, which won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the UAE in 2013.
According to Taye Academy, Manchester City are yet to pay Iheanacho’s full transfer fee and obtained the Nigerian international in 2014 through a fraudulent means orchestrated by one Raymond Hassay of American-based First Eleven Management.
Speaking exclusively to HotSports, the legal adviser of Taye Football Academy, Okenna Onyenucheya warned Manchester City that they cannot be bullied and are ready to obtain what rightfully belongs to them by any legal means necessary.
“Kelechi Iheanacho transferred from our academy, Taye Football Academy to Manchester City in the year 2014. The whole deal was shrouded in secrecy and my clients’ naivety and blind trust was abused to rip the club off.
“Our clients were not given a copy of the contract which they are supposed to have since 2014 and when we became involved we made several efforts through Barrister Johnny Ogbah to get a copy of the contract from Manchester City but they have refused to give us a copy or even reply our letters.
“However, the whole thing smells fishy and we have good grounds to believe that they were in on the whole thing right from the start because every time they receive a letter on the issue they immediately inform First Eleven and they in turn will call us trying to persuade us to drop the matter,” Onyenaucheya continued.
“We are exploring our options and very soon the whole world will hear everything that went down because these people have not been sincere
with Taye Football Academy at all,” he added.
If Manchester City are found to have signed Iheanacho from First Eleven Management, instead of Taye Academy, then they could face FIFA ban for breaching third-party ownership laws.
FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee has in the past imposed sanctions on several clubs for breaches relating to third-party influence and/or third-party ownership of players’ economic rights (TPO).

ADDRESS BY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ON MONDAY 21st AUGUST, 2017

My dear citizens,

I am very grateful to God and to all Nigerians for their prayers. I am pleased to be back on home soil among my brothers and sisters.

2. In the course of my stay in the United Kingdom, I have been kept in daily touch with events at home. Nigerians are robust and lively in discussing their affairs, but I was distressed to notice that some of the comments, especially in the social media have crossed our national red lines by daring to question our collective existence as a nation. This is a step too far.

3. In 2003 after I joined partisan politics, the late Chief Emeka Ojukwu came and stayed as my guest in my hometown Daura. Over two days we discussed in great depth till late into the night and analyzed the problems of Nigeria. We both came to the conclusion that the country must remain one and united.

4. Nigeria's unity is settled and not negotiable. We shall not allow irresponsible elements to start trouble and when things get bad they run away and saddle others with the responsibility of bringing back order, if necessary with their blood
.
5. Every Nigerian has the right to live and pursue his business anywhere in Nigeria without let or hindrance.

6. I believe the very vast majority of Nigerians share this view.

7. This is not to deny that there are legitimate concerns. Every group has a grievance. But the beauty and attraction of a federation is that it allows different groups to air their grievances and work out a mode of co-existence.

8. The National Assembly and the National Council of State are the legitimate and appropriate bodies for national discourse.

9. The national consensus is that, it is better to live together than to live apart.

10. Furthermore, I am charging the Security Agencies not to let the successes achieved in the last 18 months be a sign to relax.

11. Terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly so that the majority of us can live in peace and safety.

12. Therefore we are going to reinforce and reinvigorate the fight not only against;

· elements of Boko Haram which are attempting a new series of attacks on soft targets
· kidnappings, farmers versus herdsmen clashes,
· in addition to ethnic violence fuelled by political mischief makers. We shall tackle them all.

13. Finally, dear Nigerians, our collective interest now is to eschew petty differences and come together to face common challenges of;
· economic security,
· political evolution and integration
· as well as lasting peace among all Nigerians.

14. I remain resolutely committed to ensuring that these goals are achieved and maintained. I am so glad to be home.

15. Thank you and may God bless our dear Nation.

BRIEF HOMILY FOR THE SOLEMNITY OF CHRIST THE KING. BY Rev. Fr. Cosmas Edochie.

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THE ; EXTRAORDINARY KING

Today the pilgrim Church on earth matches out in procession, to honor and declare to the whole world that our Lord Jesus Christ is the universal king. From the first reading we observed that a real and true king does not impose himself on the people, he does not go about campaining or bribing people to be accepted as a king. Rather, it was the people after observing the person's genuine characters and commendable behaviours to his family and the entire community, will then invite all the tribes and villages to the persons house as they did to David, saying, We are your flesh and bone, you have been representing us well, and fighting for our common good, after observing your spirit of service and sincerity. We have unanimously chosen you to be our king and leader. Then, they prayed and thanked God before anointing him as their king (2Sam.5;1-3). The kingship of David prefigured the universal kingship of our Lord Jesus Christ, because it concerns our flesh and spirit. According to St. Paul, the kingship of Christ played three extraordinary significant roles in our lives. First, the creative role, as the first born from all creation, every throne, power, authority, or position both visible and invisible were created through him, and must be subjected to him, so anyone who neglects Jesus in any position, it means the foundation have been destroyed and the person is heading to doom. The second kingly role is that of redemption, through his body and blood, he reconciled everything in heaven and on earth to God, being the first to rise from the dead, he made peace among us through his death on the cross. Thirdly,is his leadership role, being the head and leader of his Church, all Christians and followers of Christ makes up his body the Church, and Christ is the head of the Church, so if the head is cut off from the body, the body becomes useless, so anything we are doing without Christ is baseless (col.1;11-20). Hitherto, it is obvious that the Church of Christ is made up of two kinds of people, saints and sinners, which were represented by the two thieves with Jesus on the cross. The unrepentant thief staying very close to Jesus, and even faced with death in few minutes, had no remorse of conscience, only accusing and blaming others for his culpability, he needed help but cannot make efforts. He lost his sense of human feelings and sympathy, which shows that no one can save the one who doesn't want to be saved. It is also a warning that we can be close to Jesus in the Church and communion and still miss heaven. While the repentant thief accused himself of being a sinner, he never blamed his parents or friends, after scolding the other thief of talking to Jesus without respect or fear, he acknowledged he lived a wasted life, but encountering Jesus he found love, peace and last hope od survival, he soon made a quick act of contrition and requested for a place in God's kingdom, then, Jesus declared, today, you will be with me in paradise. The goodness of Jesus made the thief to see the wretchedness of his own life, and also awakened his own lost of goodness. He turned to Jesus and Jesus did not disappoint him (Lk.23;35-43), the same can happen to us. Jesus is indeed a king but an extraordinary kind of king. He came not to condemn or conquer but to convert, not to dominate but to liberate, not to rule but to serve. He died like a criminal yet reigned from the cross. He responded to the worst accusations with what is best in him, What a wonderful king and savior whose mercy endures forever. No wonder Pilate defied all pressures mounted on him to change this inscription"INRI" on the cross, but he confirmed and upheld it saying, what is written is written, Jesus Christ is the universal king.May God give us the grace to honor and serve him faithfully now and forever.

YOU DIDN'T HEAR ME CLEARLY, I SAID, ''A WOOLMAN", HIS HEAD LOOKS LIKE WOOL -- TB JOSHUA FIRES BACK AT CRITICS

Lagos – Under-fire flamboyant Nigerian

‘Prophet’ T. B. Joshua, has shifted the goal posts, claiming that he was ‘misquoted’ when he predicted that ‘a woman’ would win the US elections .

According to a thread on his official Twitter account, the clergyman has insisted that people did not ‘hear’ him well when he prophesied.

One of prophet Tb Joshua’s loyal followers, who goes by the name Adedayo Ayomide on the giant social network, had a burning question and had guts to ask his ‘Papa’ concerning the prophecy that hit the brickwall and this is what Tb Joshua had to say,”You people didn’t hear me clearly,I said a woolman, the person his head looks like wool”.

From the look of things the prophet still stands by his ‘prophecy’ and is comparing Donald Trump’s hair to wool.

The controversial clergyman has added that he will ‘shed more light’ on the prophecy in his next Sunday service since people did not get him right.

PICK YOUR CALLS, YOU MAY BE SAVED. WITH GINA MENSAH ; AN ACTRESS AND A MODEL

PICK YOUR CALLS PLEASE

During the burial of a young man, another young man was crying out his heart. He wept uncontrollably that many people kept wondering what is wrong with him.

The mc dropped the microphone and went and took this weeping young man to a corner, calmed him down and he started to explain.
He was with the guy that died the day he met his death. He drove off first and on getting to a particular spot, he noticed that some armed robbers were getting ready to block the road and resume operation. He managed to escape. He started calling his friend to tell him what he saw, that he should remain where he was. This friend would not pick his call. To him: “why is he calling?
He should know that I am driving right behind him”. He refused to pick the call as this guy kept calling and calling. Finally, he drove into the now ready armed robbers and they pumped countless bullets on him.
He died on the spot and armed robbers stole his car. This man was crying because he knew his friend killed himself. Many of us are just like this.

Are you the one buying the credit for him or her? Pick your call when your phone rings and know why you are been called. If the phone rings twenty times in one minute, pick in all occasions. He was saving credit for his friend because I am driving straight to where he is, he met his death.

Many people will not pick the calls of their family bcs they are close to the house, proberbly they are calling to tell u not to go into that house bcs their is a danger waiting right in there.

You are in an occasion and you are calling someone you are looking at because you want to pass a crucial information, he ignores the call and is walking up to you instead, even when you are making sign that he should pick the call.
It is possible that this caller didn’t want you to come near him because he wanted to code something. Pick your call and say hello. Some people will not pick calls from numbers they don’t know and I wonder:

HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU KNOW ON THIS PLANET EARTH?
  OR

HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU HEARD THAT RECEIVED A PARTICULAR CALL AND DIED ?

DO YOU EVER THINK THAT THOSE PEOPLE YOU KNOW ARE ALL YOU NEED IN LIFE? Note something, there is no one individual that knows up to 1% of the world population. Is it not insanity for you to restrict your life to just 1% of global population? What of the remaining 99%? Many people have missed life saving opportunities because they refused to pick a particular call.
PICK YOUR PHONE WHEN IT RINGS AS LONG AS YOU ARE AVAILABLE.

Share to educate others.

PLASTIC RICE SMUGGLED INTO THE COUNTRY ? PLEASE CARRY OUT THESE TESTS BEFORE BUYING RICE ; THIS IS REAL.

Considering the hardship inflicted by the present Nigerian government on its people, hunger has taken the order of the

The plastic Chinese rice

day. So to this end, we bring you the secret of danger Nigerians are likely to face in no distant time. We therefore advise you to go through the following and save yourself and your family . Enjoy it:

Take a spoonful of rice and set it on fire. What happens next will make you tick.

China remains the largest rice producer in the world. The Middle Empire harvests more than 200 million tons of rice a year and a large number is exported all over the world.
However, cooks and consumers must be cautious: not only does this food contain pesticides used in Chinese agriculture, but according to The Korea Times, rice can also be manufactured artificially. The potato starch is mixed with plastic (synthetic resin, for example) and then takes the form of a grain of rice. The grains are then steamed with a typical rice flavor. Doctors sound the alarm against the consumption of this artificial product: three solid portions apparently contain as much plastic as a small plastic bag. An alarming fact!

With these simple tricks, you can determine whether your rice is natural or stuffed with plastic:

The water test

Pour a tablespoon of raw rice into a glass filled with cold water and mix vigorously. If the rice falls to the bottom of the glass, everything is fine, if on the contrary it floats on the surface, be vigilant, because it surely contains plastic!

The fire test

Using a lighter and a match, burn a handful of rice. If it catches fire and smells of burnt plastic, you know what to do! Do not eat it!

The mortar and pestle test

When molding a few grains of rice with a mortar and pestle, the powder should be quite white. For artificial rice, you will notice a yellow discoloration instead.

The mold test

If you want to be sure that you do not risk anything with your cooked rice, put a small amount into a tupperware and leave it in a warm place. In a few days, mold will have to appear, otherwise it is that your rice is artificial.

This is how to get it right: is the rice you buy natural or artificial? Show these different tips to all your friends so they do not take the risk of eating plastic for dinner!

Don't buy these brands of rice , they are made of plastic by Chinese people and are very dangerous to your health .

HOW TO USE THE LEAVES OF SOURSOP TO KILL CANCER CELL; (1000times stronger than chemotherapy )

Graviola (soursop) is used to treat infections caused by bacteria and parasites including leishmaniasis, a disease caused by parasites transmitted through the bite of sand fleas; herpes; coughs; and cancer, according to WebMD. It is also used to cause vomiting and to empty the bowels. Some people use graviola to help them relax.

Cancer Prevention

The leaves of the graviola tree have powerful anti-cancer properties coming from phytochemicals in the plant. The journal “Cancer Letters” published a study looking at the impact of graviola on pancreatic cancer. Supplementing with graviola stopped cancerous pancreatic tumor cells from replicating and caused them to die. Researchers suggest this natural medicine may prevent and treat cancer. The leaves may also be useful for treating skin cancer when applied topically.

Treating Viral Infections

Traditional medicines use graviola leaves as treatment for viral infections. An article published in “The Journal of Ethnopharmacology” in May of 1998 found that extracts from the leaves suppressed the herpes simplex virus. The herpes virus is spread through bodily fluids and often transmitted while kissing or through sexual contact.

According the University of Maryland Medical Center, up to 90 percent of the U.S. population has been exposed to one form of the virus and there is no cure. Some anti-viral medications can reduce the number of outbreaks or lessen symptoms. More research is needed to determine what role graviola can play in the treatment or prevention of herpes.

Pain Reduction

Supplementing with graviola leaves may reduce swelling and pain, according to a study published in May of 2010 in the “International Journal of Molecular Sciences.” Researchers gave mice with burned paws extracts of graviola leaf and observed their behaviors. Those given the supplement had less swelling and demonstrated fewer indications of pain. However, more research is needed to determine the safety and efficacy of this use in humans.

Dosing

The appropriate dose of graviola depends on several factors such as the user’s age, health, and several other conditions. At this time there is not enough scientific information to determine an appropriate range of doses for graviola.

Be sure to follow relevant directions on product labels and consult your pharmacist or physician or other healthcare professional before using.

Possible Side Effects

DO NOT EAT THE FRUIT: Eating the fruit could lead to movement disorders similar to Parkinson’s disease, according to a case-control study in the French West Indies.

No established human dosage for graviola leaf exists yet. Long-term or high-dose supplementation may cause damage to the myelin sheath, disrupting normal nerve function. Movement disorders may also occur because of compounds called alkaloids present in the plant. Symptoms of these conditions are similar to those of Parkinson’s disease.

Talk with a doctor prior to taking a graviola leaf supplement or making/drinking soursop tea.

How to Make Soursop Tea

Boil 1 liter of water, then take 15 soursop dry leaves (fresh or dried ones both have same value) and 1 small stem, cut into small pieces and put into the boiling water.

SHOCKER! MESSI REJECTS NEW BARCELONA CONTRACT ; PROPOSES MANCHESTER CITY.

Marca: Messi rejects Barcelona
Details of Messi’s decision

Marca go into detail about how Messi reached his decision on not agreeing a contract renewal.

They report the decision was made in the second week of July, when Leo was vacationing with his family on a yacht.

Rather than relaying the decision directly to the club, Messi spoke to his father and advisors, who in turn acted as messengers.

Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu is said to have received the news with “understandable shock”, however he’s since managed to remain calm.

It’s clear that Barca are preparing to return to the negotiating table with Messi in the near future, but there’s doubt as to whether the player will change his mind.

Marca loosely link Messi with a possible move to Man City, however there’s no good evidence to support that transfer story at the moment.

APC IN DANGER ! OBASANJO SHOCKS NIGERIANS SAYS, 'I DID NOT TEAR MY PDP MEMBERSHIP CARD '

FRESH  facts have , indeed , emerged  on the alleged tearing of the Peoples' Democratic Party membership card by  former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Our source who spoke recently to the aide of the former President of Nigeria in Abuja, Nigeria said  Chief Olusegun Obasanjo did not openly tear his PDP membership card as widely reported by the Nigerian press.
Recall sometime in 2015, the ex-president while speaking at the Global Education and Skills Forum, (GESF) in Dubai, the United Arab Emirate, said he did not tear his PDP membership card adding that he is not aware, maybe somebody else did it if the story that made the rounds then was anything to go by.
According to the former President, '' “I didn’t openly tear my PDP membership card; somebody else tore it because I said to him, ‘Here is the card, do whatever you like with it.
“If you like keep it; if you like tear it, if you like burn it. Here it is because they say it is giving them concern and they don’t know what is happening.
''I did that to prove to them what is happening; I could not have torn the party's membership card.”
This is in wake of the alleged threats made by Nigeria's literary giant , Prof Wole's Soyinka to tear his American Green Card if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election.

LEAKED SEX VIDEO ! THE ORGANIZERS FORCED ME TO DO IT--- Fmr. Miss Anambra ; Chidimma Okeke opens up.

Former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke, has revealed the reasons behind her involvement in the sex video and why it was released.
The 20-year-old was seen in a sex video with a lesbian partner in a video released few days before the expiration of her tenure.
The beauty queen who was nowhere to be found after the release of the video, prompting her father to raise an alarm, has come out to tell her side of the story.

In a chat with The Nation, Chidinma said the organizers of the beauty pageant were responsible for the release of the video.
She also said those who were threatening her had stopped.

She said, “Early last year, the ABS advertised for the Miss Anambra beauty pageant. I heard of it and went to make enquiry.

“My roommate was also interested, but one of the organisers told me to apply. I told them I was not interested but the man insisted that I might win the competition. He also promised to give me the form for free if I indicated interest, and he did when I agreed to contest.
“But one Jane told me that before a winner would be declared, there were certain things to be done, including the (sex) video. I consented after some persuasion from the organisers. I later went for the contest at the Marble Arch Hotels in Awka, and I was declared winner with a Kia Rio vehicle as star prize.
“When I went for my car after the contest, the organisers brought out a contract form for me to sign, but I told them I wanted to contact my lawyer to see it. I was not given the opportunity to do so.
“What they kept telling me was that if I insisted on not signing the contract or wanted to contact my lawyer, they would release the video.
“At that point, I became uncomfortable and signed the contract to avoid such embarrassment, and the car was released to me from where it was packed within the premises of ABS.
“From that moment, I became a slave to them. On October 11, 2016, they called me to come and make presentations inside the office of one the organisers. After that, the man excused some people in that room and showed me the video again.
“They told me to drop my car and removed my crown from me. I told them I would take the car as stipulated in the contract. They insisted I should pack it in the premises of (ABS).
“I told my uncle in Abuja about the situation. My uncle called them and asked them to release my car to me. Instead, they forwarded the video to him as part of the blackmail. That was what happened,” Chidinma said, crying.

Manchester United fan; Usian Bolt, planning to join Borusia Dortmond

Usain Bolt plans to train with Borussia Dortmund as he considers pursuing a football career after his retirement from athletics.

Bolt, the 100m and 200m sprint world record holder, will race for the last time in London next summer at the World Championships.

The Jamaican has been in contact with Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel, according to the Guardian, and will "see what happens" after spending time training with the Bundesliga club.

"We’ve genuinely been talking to people," said Bolt, who turns 31 next August.

Bolt is a high-profile Manchester United fan and admitted he still dreams of turning out for the Red Devils.

"For me, if I could get to play for Manchester United, that would be like a dream come true," he added. "Yes, that would be epic."

Griezmann: Hotline Bling beats the Dab!

The Kingston-born runner is a nine-time Olympic gold medalist with a perfect record in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay events at the three Games he has attended since 2008.

Last year, he reiterated his desire to go on trial with United in an interview for MUTV and was confident he could show enough ability to earn a contract.

"In my mind, I think I should do a trial and see if they would say: 'Alright, come on in' or if they would say: 'No, you are not any good,'" Bolt said.

"I think I would be pretty good because I am fit, I am quick, I can control the ball and I understand all of the play.

"So, I think if I do a trial then they would say: 'You know what, here is a contract for five years! You are 30 years old, here's a five-year

BRIEF HOMILY FOR THE 33rd SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME ; THE JUDGEMENT DAY IS NEAR FOR EVERYONE … By Rev. Fr. Cosmas Edochie

Today's Eucharistic celebration draws us closer to the end of the Church's Liturgical celebration which signifies the end of time.Next Sunday is the Solemnity of Christ the King, when we honor our Lord Jesus Christ as the king of the whole world, and then enter the season of Advent , in expectation the birth of Christ as a Man and also his parousia (second coming).Hence, the lessons from today's readings were geared towards the judgment day in which no one will be spared, because the just are to be rewarded with eternal salvation while sinners are to be rewarded with eternal punishments and damnation.
Prophet Malachi in his vision and revealed messages said that on that day, there will be total disintegration and catastrophe, where the proud and the wicked shall be uprooted and thrown into the burning furnace of destruction, while the God of justice will arise to cleanse and heal his faithful children of the wounds inflicted upon them by the evl doers. St. Paul admonishes us then not to be complacent or relax because our salvation is near. According to St John of the Cross, 'he who interrupts the course of his spiritual exercise and prayer is like a man who allows a bird to escape from his hand; he can hardly catch it again'. So we ought to persevere in our prayer life and good works, persist to work out our salvation bearing in mind that only those who persevere to the end, will receive the crown of eternal glory. St. Paul even gave it as an injunction that those who refuse to work, must not expect to reap from the fruits and efforts of others labors, which means if we always request for prayers , but not disposed to avoid sins, it may not have much effects, compared to those making sincere efforts to live a righteous life. Our Lord Jesus Christ in his plain and honest attitudes to himself and his disciples made it clear that at the end of time, there will be numerous signs and wonders to the extent of the total destruction of the beautiful temple of Jerusalem. Moreover, there will be wars and revolutions, earthquakes, plaques and famines, persecutions and imprisonments, betrayals, hatred and killings, but he warned his followers to utilize the unpleasant and challenging periods as a great opportunity to bear witness to the gospel and the redeeming words of God they have been hearing and experiencing. Thereby, where there is darkness, we become sources of light, instead of falsehood and telling lies, we bring in truthfulness, where there is hatred, we show love, and where there is misunderstanding and war, we become agents of peace. He also warned us not to be deceived by the agents of the devil who may use his name to disorganise our commitments and faith, thus, we must be courageous, firm and enduring, not to be afraid or give up, in order to be triumphant and victorious, because in all situations on the last day, good must triumph over evil. Jesus said, by our endurance, we will save our souls. Our faithfulness can only be proved actually in the presence of suffering and patience. Our Lord Jesus Christ endured the weight and pains of the Cross through patience and endurance. We also need endurance to share in the sufferings of Christ, because if we share in his sufferings, we shall also share in his glory. Therefore, let us pray that the God of mercy and love, in the midst of the uncertainties of this changing and challenging world, will keep us secure in his love, and give us the peace of mind that earthly inheritance and acquisitions cannot give, to be worthy of the eternal kingdom, through Christ our Lord.

WOMAN GIVES BIRTH TO TWINS AND NAMES THEM DONALD AND TRUMP

A woman from South Carolina who made headlines when she gave birth to twin boys at Grand Strand Medical Center and named them Donald and Trump says she has no regrets for giving them those names. The proud mum said:

“We weren’t planning on naming them after Donald Trump at first, but it is clearly a divine sign that our next president shows up in our state on the day my little sunshines are born” explained Latifa Huxley, proud mother of the two.

“Donald Trump is a bright and successful man with strong moral values that represents what America is all about.” she told local reporters, visibly emotional.

The family strongly believe the timing of the South Carolina GOP primary with the birth of their twins in February was no coincidence.

Spanish Champions Barcelona are monitoring the progress Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho and are ready to lure him away from the Etihad with a bid of six billion naira (£16.8m) in the summer.

The 20 -year -old had a remarkable 2015/2016 season in his premier league debut, scoring eight times as he helped Manchester City qualify for the UEFA Champions league.

However, be caught the eye as he averaged a goal every 81.27 minutes which was better than the ratio achieved by more accomplished strikers like Luis Suarez (83.77), Christiano Ronaldo (84.77) and Lionel Messi (95.95).
According to reports, the Nigerian, who has already scored three times with three assists this season is monitored closely by by Barcelona after manager Luiz Enrique identified him as one who could fit into his playing style at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona currently possess the best attacking trio in the world football, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar but Paco Alca‘cer has failed to shine as a backup which has made the Catalans turn focus to Iheanacho
It's unlikely that Barcelona will prise the Nigerian away from the Etihad in January as Pep Guardiola considers him an integral part of the squad and showed faith in him by extending his contract to 2021 but the Catalans are willing to test their resolve to sell at the end of the current season.

I WILL NOT TEAR MY U. S GREEN CARD AGAIN -----SOYINKA

‎ Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, Wednesday, stated that he will not destroy his United States’ residency permit just yet; while
he warned that the victory of Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential race could jeopardize U.S. support in Nigeria’s fight against Boko Haram. In an interview with Newsweek, Soyinka stated that Trump’s ‘bunker mentality’ could see the U.S. withdraw support for counter-terrorism operations in West Africa. Following the announcement of Trump’s victory, Nigerians took to social media to question Soyinka about whether he would honour his pledge. In response, the report quoted Soyinka as saying that he is biding his time until Trump is inaugurated in January before deciding on his next steps. “Why don’t we wait until Trump actually takes office? I am just going about my normal commitments, but definitely not getting into any more commitments. Let’s put it that way for now,” he said. According to the report, under the administration of Barack Obama, the U.S. has provided financial support and military training to West African countries fighting Boko Haram. The U.S., it said, provided $71 million worth of equipment, logistics and training to five countries—Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger, and Benin—that together formed a joint task force in 2015 to fight the militants, according to a February fact sheet from the U.S. State Department. Obama also approved the deployment of up to 300 U.S. military personnel to Cameroon in October 2015 to carry out intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations in the region. “One should expect that level of collaboration to diminish. Trump’s mentality is one of, ‘What are we doing there? What business do we have over there?’” Soyinka stated. “I foresee Trump dismissing that kind of expectation offhand and closing in, shrinking, becoming smaller in terms of the U.S.’s presence in other parts of the world,” he added. The report said Soyinka is based between Nigeria and the U.S., where he is affiliated to several universities. Excerpt of the interview with Newsweek The victory of Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential race could jeopardize U.S. support in Nigeria’s fight against Boko Haram, according to Nigerian Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka. In an exclusive interview, Soyinka tells Newsweek that Trump’s “bunker mentality” could see the U.S. withdraw support for counter-terrorism operations in West Africa. The Nigerian author and playwright also says that he will not destroy his U.S. residency permit just yet, despite a pre-election pledge to “cut” his green card, which is afforded to immigrants granted permanent residence in the country. The businessman and former reality television star secured victories in key swing states, capitalizing on an anti-establishment feeling among voters to win out against his more experienced rival. Boko Haram, an Islamist militant group, launched an armed insurgency against the Nigerian government in 2009, killing thousands and displacing more than 2 million since then. The group also pledged allegiance to the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) in 2015, though it has recently split into factions following the appointment in August of an ISIS-approved leader. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari extended his congratulations to Trump on Wednesday, saying that he looked forward to working with the president-elect “to build on and strengthen relations between Nigeria and the U.S.” Trump had little to say about U.S. foreign policy towards Africa in general and Nigeria specifically during his presidential campaign. While he has vowed to pursue ISIS in Syria and Iraq, the Republican has made no mention of whether he intends to persist with or discontinue the country’s support for counter-terrorism efforts in West Africa. Newsweek contacted the Trump campaign for further comment but received no immediate reply. An analysis by South Africa-based thinktank the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) suggested that Trump could become “the single most effective recruiting tool for terrorist organizations across the globe,” including in Africa. The ISS cited Trump’s hardline rhetoric towards Muslims, his advocation of the use of torture and expressed desire to target the families of militants all as potential factors in Trump being used by militant groups in recruitment drives. Trump’s campaign pledge to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the U.S. has already been used in a propaganda video by Al-Shabab, a Somali militant group aligned with Al-Qaeda. Soyinka is based between Nigeria and the U.S., where he is affiliated to several universities. In a recent discussion with students at the University of Oxford in the U.K., which was shared in a video on October 27, the author vowed to destroy his green card should Trump be declared the winner of the election. Following the announcement of Trump’s victory on Wednesday, Nigerians took to social media to question Soyinka about whether he would honor his pledge. The Nigerian author—who was the first African to win the Nobel Prize in literature in 1986—says he is biding his time until Trump is inaugurated in January before deciding on his next steps. “Why don’t we wait until Trump actually takes office?” says Soyinka. “I’m just going about my normal commitments, but definitely not getting into any more commitments. I'LL OVERTURN THE SHOCKING GAY MARRIAGE IN AMERICA TRUST ME --- DONALD TRUMP

Donald
Trump In a recent interview with Pat Robertson’s television network, Donald Trump blathered that antigay conservatives the world over can rest easy knowing that he’s committed to overturning the Supreme Court’s landmark decision that struck down state bans on same-sex marriage nationwide.

The Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody asked the GOP presidential frontrunner what he thought of the Log Cabin Republicans calling him “one of the best, if not the best, pro-gay Republican candidates to ever run for the presidency.”

Told that Evangelicals want to trust his stance on traditional marriage, Trump responded:

“I think they can trust me on traditional marriage… and frankly, I was very much in favor of having the court rule that it goes to states, and let the states decide. And that was a shocking decision for you and for me and for a lot of other people, but I was very much in favor of letting the states decide and that’s the way it looked it was going and then all of a sudden out of nowhere came this very massive decision and they took it away. But I was always in favor of state’s rights; states deciding.”
